Chairman and Founder

RB has some fifty years of investment banking, investment management and engineering experience. During the 30-year history of AgriCapital, he has worked with a myriad of agribusiness entities, covering the spectrum of the food chain in the United States and countries around the globe. He is active in many industry trade associations, including, most recently, serving on the Board of the American Feed Industry Association and its Executive Committee. He has also volunteered time over many years for the American Seed Trade Association, including Chairing the planning committee of one of its Annual Meetings. He travels extensively and attends over twenty-five conferences annually to stay current with industry developments. In addition to various trade association meetings, these include agribusiness seminars at Harvard, UC Davis, and Purdue. RB holds S.B. and S.M. degrees in engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.



Doug has over 20 years of experience in agribusiness and investment banking. Since joining AgriCapital in 1998, he has executed numerous transactions on behalf of privately held, public and multinational corporations, as well as private equity- and venture capital-owned companies. Prior to AgriCapital, Doug spent eight years at Abbott Laboratories in various management roles within the animal health and crop protection businesses. Doug earned a B.S. in agriculture with a concentration in animal science from the University of Nebraska and received an M.B.A. with emphasis in finance and international business from Loyola University, Chicago.



Joe joined AgriCapital in 2008. Prior to joining AgriCapital, Joe worked at Merrill Lynch’s global private client group assisting in portfolio management strategies. He holds a B.S. in Finance and a minor in business law from Fordham University.



Before joining AgriCapital in 2013, Lucy served seven years as a transaction services advisor at PricewaterhouseCoopers with progressive experience within M&A and capital market transactions. She brings extensive experience in addressing due diligence, valuation, and financial reporting issues in connection with acquisitions, spin-offs, divestitures and initial public offerings transactions. Lucy is a CFA charter holder and a Certified Public Accountant. She majored in accounting and minored in business at the University of New York at Albany, from which she graduated valedictorian and earned a B.A. degree. She is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
